Investigating the truth
This classroom activity is designed to help students recognise that not everything they see or hear online is true. It aims to help students to develop questioning skills to identify when something is fake or trying to trick or scam them.
Media and Me
These templates will support students to develop their critical thinking skills when viewing different types of media including entertainment, news, social media and advertising.
Behind the Headlines
Our award-winning Behind the Headlines programme empowers young people to understand, critically analyse, engage with and participate in the media. We have carefully tailored a set of innovative and authentic experiences, rooted in journalism and educational best practice. Sessions can be virtual or in-person at our Education Centre, located in the Guardian’s head office.
